One of the most satisfying things about being involved in the lives of young children, is the opportunity to watch them grow and flourish as the years pass.

When Wriggle and Rhyme started, almost 9 years ago, my son Nathan was only 18 months old.  He was my inspiration and one of the first beneficiaries of our music and movement program.  It’s been an absolute thrill to watch his love of music grow over the years.

Nathan is now 10 years old and is learning to play the piano.  He allowed me to share this little clip of him playing a simple version of “Largo” from Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, which he is learning at the moment.

How gorgeous to see his love of music grow from then until now!  And, how deeply satisfying to know that Wriggle and Rhyme played a part in growing this skill and passion.

It’s also amazing to think that while he’s playing this sweet little piece, there are literally fireworks going off in his brain!
