Wriggle and Rhyme’s passion is music, music and more music! But, our passion is also people. We love using music to bring people together.

In our baby and toddler classes, grown-ups attend with their little ones. Our groups are small, so it’s a great space for meeting new people and building friendships.

A space to grow friendships

Refreshments are provided after the structured musical programme. This gives people a chance to connect and get to know each other.

When you’re parenting a young child, it’s wonderful to meet people at a similar stage of life. Ideas are shared and encouragement is offered!

New friends … musical and real people!

Our theme for this term for our RHYMERS group has been “Friends in our Garden”. The RHYMERS are our toddlers – aged 18 months to 3 years. They’ve been meeting little animal friends throughout our weekly musical programme.

These friends include a little wriggly worm. We meet him in puppet form and sing about him, while wriggling ourselves.

Wriggly treats

Our MEADOWRIDGE branch teacher shared these special photos with us this week.

One of her little RHYMERS is moving overseas and so there was an opportunity to say goodbye in his final class.

Another granny in the class arrived with specially made “wriggly worm” biscuits as a thoughtful treat for the whole class, to say goodbye to the little chap.

Music brings people together

This spontaneous and thoughtful act just reminded us again of the importance of connection and relationships.

In a post-LOCKDOWN world, it’s so important for us to learn to reconnect and rely on each other again.

We’re so grateful that Wriggle and Rhyme classes give people a chance to do just that, in a small and safe space!

We have BABY and TODDLER classes available in MEADOWRIDGE, RONDEBOSCH, CLAREMONT and MELKBOS.

Come and join us and see how MUSIC brings PEOPLE together!
